Recently, NLU participated in a national survey through the #RealCollege Hope Center on the basic needs of students in the climate of the pandemic. The data for NLU students supports our strategic shift towards providing a full-service good pantry. 40% of students responded that they were food insecure in the last 30 days. Through NLU’s emergency fund program, 57% of our applicants indicated they were applying that they needed the money to buy food. It is important now, more than ever, to lend a helping hand to our students facing hunger.
To better serve our students, we are asking for donations to the NLU Food Pantry. Each and every dollar can make a difference in our students lives.
